After my daughter and her fiancé set their wedding date my daughter invited me to accompany her, for her wedding dress shopping. After trying on several dress styles, she decided on a traditional dress with a long train.

As a designer, I have a good eye for fabric and design, and thought I’d be able to help my daughter with the difficult choice of finding the perfect dress for her special occasion. As she tried on various gowns, the bridal consultants in the boutiques struggled to keep the train in order I wondered why there wasn’t anything to hold the shape of the gown at the bottom of the train. Even if something wasn’t built in, there should be a device you could attach that would allow the train or the gown extension to spread and flow as the bride moved. Not a single bridal consultant knew of a solution to fix this issue. I tried to imagine having to constantly spread out the train on my daughter’s big day, and how awkwardly I had seen people bend over again and again to reset the train just before the bride walked down the aisle, only to have the train shift during the walk and tilt to the sides.

After we found the perfect dress, I could not stop thinking about the issue with the train. I searched the market for a device that could keep the train in place and provide volume, such as a skirt loop. I could not find any solution in the marketplace.

At that moment, I decided to create a solution for my daughter and invented “Precious Bride Walk”, a removable dress skirt loop that easily attaches to the gown or train loop.

Like all mothers, I simply wanted to help my daughter feel beautiful on her wedding day, and I wanted her dress to move with her. I wanted the train to flow gracefully behind her as intended. The dress skirt loop I designed worked perfectly, and my daughter felt relieved that she had one less thing to worry about on one of the most important days of her life.

I received so many inquires on the removable dress loop that I decided to formally create and patent this product I invented.
